End User License Agreement (EULA)

Edit page

Effective date: 2026-04-15

This End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to the HagiCode desktop client, the HagiCode Server installed, invoked, or managed by the desktop application, related service components, hagicode.com and all of its subdomain sites, and associated release materials. By accessing, downloading, installing, or using HagiCode, you agree to this agreement.

Subject to this agreement, HagiCode grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable limited license to:

  • install, run, and evaluate HagiCode software and documentation materials;
  • install, start, configure, update, or manage HagiCode Server through HagiCode Desktop for local or otherwise controlled service scenarios described by the product documentation;
  • use HagiCode in personal learning, internal engineering, testing, demos, or otherwise authorized business scenarios; and
  • configure local environments and supporting services required by HagiCode according to the public documentation.

Except where applicable law or an open-source license expressly requires otherwise, no unlisted intellectual property, trademark, branding, or redistribution rights are granted to you.

This agreement covers:

  • official HagiCode desktop, server, upgrade, and release packages;
  • the HagiCode Server component installed, managed, or invoked alongside HagiCode Desktop, including related updates, configuration materials, and runtime support content;
  • documentation, installation guides, example configurations, download guidance, and related site content published on hagicode.com and all of its subdomain sites; and
  • formal HagiCode releases, update packages, store-page descriptions, and related deliverables distributed through official channels such as Steam; and
  • scripts, presets, media references, and release notes directly related to product functionality.

Third-party components, model providers, open-source dependencies, and external platforms remain governed by their own licenses and terms. If you obtain HagiCode through a third-party distribution channel such as Steam, platform-level account, payment, content delivery, refund, and community features also remain subject to that platform’s rules.

Unless HagiCode provides prior written permission, you must not:

  • remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, or ownership notices included in the software, documentation, or release packages;
  • use HagiCode for unlawful conduct, infringement, malicious attacks, unauthorized penetration, or any activity that violates applicable law;
  • bypass access controls, license checks, billing limits, security mechanisms, or distribution restrictions built into the product;
  • misrepresent an official HagiCode identity, partnership, endorsement, or support relationship; or
  • use HagiCode in ways that violate applicable open-source obligations, third-party API terms, or model provider policies.

HagiCode may integrate with or link to third-party AI providers, code hosting platforms, analytics services, download mirrors, community tools, and distribution platforms such as Steam. Those services are operated independently by their providers, and HagiCode does not solely control their availability, pricing, account systems, or data handling.

When you connect a third-party service, you are responsible for confirming that:

  • you have lawful access to the relevant account, token, key, or project resources;
  • you understand that copies distributed through official platforms such as Steam may also be subject to platform-specific installation, update, account, or community rules;
  • your usage complies with the provider’s terms, privacy notice, and regional compliance requirements; and
  • you understand that third-party integrations can affect generated output, available features, fees, and data flows.

HagiCode is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HagiCode disclaims express and implied warranties, including warranties that:

  • the software or documentation will remain error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a specific purpose;
  • generated output, automation suggestions, installation scripts, or example configurations will be fully correct, complete, or suitable in every environment; or
  • third-party services, networks, mirrors, model responses, or external dependencies will remain accessible or compatible.

You are responsible for independently reviewing AI-generated output, automation actions, deployment behavior, and compliance risk before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HagiCode and its contributors, affiliates, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, replacement costs, or security incident impacts.

If HagiCode is found liable under this agreement, the aggregate liability is limited to the amount you directly paid for the relevant product during the twelve months before the claim arose. If you did not directly pay any fee, liability is limited to the minimum amount allowed by law.

If you violate this agreement, or if your usage creates a significant risk to HagiCode, users, third-party services, or platform security, HagiCode may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to affected software, services, or update channels without prior notice.

After termination, you must stop using the affected HagiCode product and, where applicable, delete or stop distributing copies that you are no longer permitted to keep.
